Shown here is a section of female breast with a typical scirrhus carcinoma approximately 2.0 x 1.5
cm towards the lower part of the specimen. The tumour appears to be puckering the surrounding
fat; the cut surface is slightly concave as by retraction and the tumour is homogeneous.
